SALON OF HYBRID THINGS

The salon was initially conceived as a space of creative discourse for small circle of invited guests; the artists in the SALON OF HYBRID THINGS depart from that notion and redefine the space KW PROJECTS as a space, between involvement and exclusion, activation and conception. The exhibiting artists are bound by their interest in social structures, which they reflect and translate spatially. The assembled works in the salon all take a specific space as their starting points and question their value and potential for transformation. The resulting "things" are hybrids – "sometimes an object,sometimes a social bond, and sometimes discourse" (Bruno Latour).
With works by Sol Calero, Josip Novosel and Peles Empire.
