The year 2000 marked the birth of the Generaciones grants and awards, a programme created by La Casa Encendida to support and promote the work of young artists. This exhibition celebrates the project's 10th anniversary with selected works by participants in past editions of Generaciones. The show addresses the theme of space from multiple perspectives, a recurrent motif in art, especially since the late 1960s with the emergence of Land Art or Earth Art and its post-Romantic attempt to restore humanity's bond with nature.
The artists invited to participate in the exhibition are Lara Almarcegui, Ibon Aranberri, Sergio Belinchón, David Bestué and Marc Vives, Bleda & Rosa, Santiago Cirugeda, Pedro G. Romero, Dora García, Federico Guzmán, Cristina Lucas and Fernando Renes.
