Luis Rosales: Contents of the Heart is the title of an exhibition organised to mark the centenary of his birth that reviews the life and work of this leading poet of the Generation of '36.

Luis Rosales (Granada, 1910–Madrid, 1992) was a versatile intellectual: poet, essayist, member of the Royal Spanish Academy of Language, populariser of Spanish-language culture in the rest of the world and promoter of Latin American literature in Spain. His friends included many authors of the Generation of '27 and artists from various disciplines. He was also editor-in-chief of the journal Cuadernos hispanoamericanos.

The show presents a chronological survey of Luis Rosales's life and brilliant literary career, during which he was showered with distinctions such as the National Literature Prize (1951) and the Cervantes Prize (1982). The exhibition includes manuscripts and printed documents, photographs and selected visual works by contemporary artists like Benjamín Palencia, Rafael Alberti, Federico García Lorca, José Caballero and Joan Miró, among others.
