For some time now I've been working on the notion of time and existence in my work. The marks on the skin always have caused much impression on me; and somehow are like a path of life spent, testimony, traces of the same act of existing, road markings, even revealing your identity, container where it lives also memory and pain, invisible part and perhaps the soul basis.
The occurrence, the skin becomes a metaphor or useful reading, reflecting my particular interest to the stigma of the time that it’s join to the concept of territory and displacement, also raising questions since I come and go between France and Cuba and vice versa.
