To Jorge López Pardo, the visual reality has been during a lot of time the result of his obsession within the world of the plastic forms, but always interpolated with an serious aesthetic and intellectual investigation.
He has developed an extraordinary ability to highlight, and interact with a common object which achieves new associations and from this point, he is able to summon the spectator to a new interaction with that meaning. The storage palettes had already appeared on their canvases, as another character inside the contextual fiction.
Now he makes us enter in a gallery, feeling like someone who passes over the threshold of a warehouse, in such a way that we are in a paradoxical installation that transforms our vision into an alteration of the perception by means of the chiaroscuros so notorious in his work, now taken to the installation - which changes inside the physical spaces - altering the reality so that the spectator is involved in the simultaneity of the spaces. This is not a surrealist Installation at all however it combines the oníric with the fluency of the artist's chore.
