16 July – 15 October 2017
In recent years, pop music and its forms of expression are playing an increasingly important role in video art. As an atmospheric medium and reflection of popular culture, the combination of music and moving image becomes a mouthpiece. Between high and low, sensuality, coolness and ecstasy, the exhibition develops emotionally charged spaces for recollection and gripping sound landscapes as social snapshots.
Artists
Doug Aitken, Fatima Al Qadiri, Mohamed Bourouissa, Jeremy Deller & Cecilia Bengolea, Cyprien Gaillard, Christian Jankowski, Masbedo, Anri Sala, Wolfgang Tillmans
