Five Weeks. Five Artist. Five Works.
The exhibition continues this Wednesday with the presentaion of a work from artist duo Peter Fischli and David Weiss. This work is a reissue from their Airport-Series (1987-2006), a project consisting of more than 800 photographs all depicting trivial situations within the landing areas of various often unrecognizable airports worldwide. The repeating perspectives (always out of the terminal), the uniformity of the scenery and the sheer mass of monotonous imagery seems to result in a tremendous jetlag, which, in it’s own regard, transcends the banality of the images themselves.
Until December 23, 2015 a new piece by a different artist will be exhibited every Wednesday.
