At a glance, the works of Erik Chambert appear entirely abstract. With their play of lines and surfaces, light and shade, hard and soft.
But Chambert based his works on life. He was a visual artist but also a designer. His design has been described as “humane functionalism”. This exhibition presents a selection of Chambert’s artistic oeuvre, including paintings and a few items of furniture.
