Paul McCarthy
Paul McCarthy (b. 1945) is one of the most influential artists of his generation. He was for a long time an artist’s artist, known only to a small number of initiates. In the last decade, his work has begun to be shown in broader contexts. Moderna Museet’s exhibition is the biggest survey of his art so far.

Films will be screened in the Guard House, the Cinema and the Studio
The Guard House is a separate building by the Moderna Museet main entrance. A selection of McCarthy ́s films will be screened in large format in the Cinema, while a wider range of his film productions (excluding his collaboration with other artists) will be shown on three screens in the Studio.
