Opening Friday January 6 at 5 p.m.
At 6:00 p.m. during the opening Tuk and Kurt D’Haeseleer present a live performance.

The Netherlands Media Art Institute begins the new year with an exhibition of brand new work by Belgian artists from the Institute’s collection. Over the past years a new generation of Belgian artists has arisen who deal with images and sound in fresh ways. The exciting results can be seen in this exhibition.
The works being shown are by Bernard Gigounon, Dyptic One (2005), Antonin de Bemels, Light Body Corpuscles (2005), Pieter-Paul Mortier, In the midst of (2005), Kurt D’Haeseleer, Fossilization (2005), Anouk de Clercq, Typospace (2005) and the newest work from Nicolas Provost, The Diver (2006). In addition, the international prize winning installation by Johan Grimonprez, Looking for Alfred, will be shown for the first time in Amsterdam.
