MUSAC’s Laboratorio 987 features the exhibition Castillete, Mining Tableau (Landscape in Motion I) by Carme Nogueira, within the Form and Meaning exhibition series. The show is the result of an investigation carried out by the artist in Sabero, a mining town in León, into the different layers of meaning (materials, stories, records...) involved in the formation of the idea of landscape in a specific place.
The Form and Meaning exhibition series, curated by Leire Vergara, is structured around three monographic exhibitions by the artists Hiwa K, Carme Nogueira Alejandra Riera and a group project by the Leon-based artists Nilo Gallego, Silvia Zayas and Chus Domínguez.
