TROXLER TO THE POWER OF THREE
5 May 2017 - 25 June 2017

In the entrance hall of the Toni-Areal a 140 m2 wall is reserved for Museum's presentations.

Niklaus Troxler is among the most versatile poster designers of the present day. Alongside posters jazz is his other great passion. As initiator of the Willisau Jazz Festival, Troxler was able to combine profession and passion in an ideal way. His posters translate the music into images filled with rhythm and dynamism. Delight in color and a certain playfulness characterize the posters by Troxler’s daughters, Annik and Paula. In 2010 they took over the visual design of the jazz festival. On the occasion of his 70th birthday the Museum celebrates Niklaus Troxler by showing a selection of posters in the entrance hall of the Toni Area. This presentation is accompanied by works by his daughters.
