2014 Fluxus pioneer Benjamin Patterson celebrates his 80th birthday and presents his audience with an international tour, which took him to important stations of his career. With “Dr. Ben’s Fluxus Medicine Show” he continues the tradition of wandering miracle healers and offeres his Fluxus Elixir, which was irradiated with special acoustic frequencies, to cure the sufferers with mental obstacles to value and understand contemporary art. The tour ends with a grand birthday party in Wiesbaden, Patterson’s adopted home, at Nassauischer Kunstverein and an exhibition with photos by Wolfgang Träger, who accompanied and documented the tour.
