A BURNT-OUT CASE?
1 September – 14 October 2012
Burnout is a phenomenon of our times that omits hardly any professional group. From once being a stigma of the helping professions, the syndrome has now become an almost “chic” diagnosis – for it provides evidence of the willingness to do the utmost and enable what appears unworkable, to exceed limits and surpass oneself. The interdisciplinary exhibition project intends to cast a different view on the phenomenon of burnout. An Open Call was seeking disturbing, contrary and associative positions that describe a utopian and fictitious future.
