An exhibition of the Ann and Jürgen Wilde Foundation, Munich. Albert Renger-Patzsch (1897-1966), key photographer and pioneer of Neue Sachlichkeit (New Sobriety), also displayed a keen interest throughout his life for the classics and modern literature. A lively personal correspondence developed between himself and the German author Ernst Jünger, who also penned two essays on the photographer ́s work, published in the photobooks "Bäume" ("Trees", 1962) and "Gestein" ("Rock", 1966). This exhibition of material from the Ann and Jürgen Wilde Foundation ́s Albert Renger-Patzsch Archive, contains photographs, various publications and a selection from his correspondence.
