An exhibition of the Ann and Jürgen Wilde Foundation, Munich. Albert Renger-Patzsch (1897-1966), key photographer and pioneer of Neue Sachlichkeit (New Sobriety), also displayed a keen interest throughout his life for the classics and modern literature. A lively personal correspondence developed between himself and the German author Ernst Jünger, who also penned two essays on the photographer ́s work, published in the photobooks "Bäume" ("Trees", 1962) and "Gestein" ("Rock", 1966).
