Pinakothek der Moderne

Due to their light sensitivity, watercolours by the famous German Expressionist Emil Nolde are seldom exhibited. Largely unknown to most, the Staatliche Graphische Sammlung is in possession of an outstanding collection of watercolours by the artist, most of which come from the Martha and Markus Kruss Bequest. This exhibition gives the general public another opportunity to see these much-loved and well-known works on paper.
