Pinakothek der Moderne

The exhibition presents the multifaceted prints in Terry Winters’ oeuvre following on from the drawings shown in Munich in 2003. A catalogue raisonné documents the output of the past 15 years. Alongside his reputation as a painter, Winters is also considered one of the most important masters of graphic art of his generation. Reason and the intellect are combined in his work with the intuitive and sensual while exploring the graphic techniques in all their experimental facets at the same time. Revolutionary, virtual worlds of the computer age are combined with nature and structures in a manner unforeseen up until now.
