After his solo exhibition Unnamed Room at 798 Project Space of Platform China Contemporary Art Institute in July, 2007, Chen Wei will has a new solo show The Fabulist's Path at Platform China Main Space B. This exhibition is expected to reveal his 4 series of works, including 7 mystic installation rooms, widely expanded photographys, photos of still life that filled with metaphors, and anonyms loitering in the corner of city and village. Under the young artist Chen Wei’s organization, the properties, scenes, characters and light become a reproduction of the secret inner feelings and hallucinations. Dreamland on the picture seems to be more possibilities under the guidance of Fabulist’s fable-line.
This exhibition will open at 4PM on the 14th of June, and will continue through 20th of Julyl,2008. By the time we will see Chen Wei’s new appearance through the works.
