Education

Dr. Eva-Christina Kraus is a curator, designer, and theorist and has spent over fifteen years engaged in the field of teaching and exhibitions and in forms of discourse and debate.

Her main focus of interest concerns topics of fine arts and applied arts, with particular attention to 20th-century design and architecture, contemporary art and the esthetics of everyday life.

She established the Friedrich Kiesler Zentrum in Vienna and Steinle Contemporary, a conceptual exhibition space for contemporary art in Munich, serving as Director of both institutions.

Dr. Kraus was a curator at the Museum of Applied Art in Vienna and at the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum in New York.

Dr. Kraus' dissertation and theoretical practice examines the theme of 'Display and curatorial practice'.

Her commitment to the esthetics of everyday life and urban issues came to fruition in the platform QandApanels.org.
