JUSTENE WILLIAMS
“FEMMZOIL”

Exhibition dates: 17 September – 10 October, 2009
Gallery hours: Tuesday–Friday 10am–6pm, Saturday 11am–6pm

Justene Williams’ three channel video installation, FEMMZOIL, is a futurescape ( -ism, -ama), a victory – a “fist-and-cane-fighting” – of poor materials and neutrality (cardboard, photographs, tape, androgyny) to accommodate a mesmeric dance lubricated by transcendent noise.
