In Sala Rekalde, Bilbao Mendi Film Festival will pay homage to the Polish himalayism which golden age was in the decades of the 70 ́s and 80's; with the exhibition of the comics Ice Warriors, in which Krzystof Wielicki tells the story of the first ascension to Everest Mountain, and Lho La tragedy, based on the expedition lead by Chrobak and Andrzej Heinrinch.
In addition the film Art of Freedom will be in an on-going projection. The film tells the story of the most difficult and spectacular polish expeditions.
