We are proud to announce Anselm Stalder’s solo-exhibition at SCHAU ORT, opening on March 16th, 2012. As an artist formerly represented by Galerie Elisabeth Kaufmann, we are delighted that he has deemed us a worthy successor.
Anselm Stalder’s exhibition at SCHAU ORT, titled “Vermutete Mitte” (= supposed center), focuses on the artist’s series SEINEBILDER (= his pictures). In this series, Stalder re-worked old black and white photographs his father took in the Alps. Our great thanks to Hans Rudolf Reust for his wonderful text on our exhibition. Our exhibition is closely connected to Anselm Stalder’s solo-show “Glimmende Peripherie” (= smoldering periphery) at Kunstmuseum Solothurn. The exhibition presents an extensive overview of Anselm Stalder's work from the 1990s until today; an opportunity not to be missed!
