What causes the ‘Irreversible Moment,’ the “point of no return” – in the natural sciences, but also in society or in an individual’s life, and can we actually pinpoint this moment in time? In her exhibition Open Lab ‘Irreversible Moment,’ Jenny Brockmann for the first time presents her multi-year artistic research on this term which she has coined. At the same time, the exhibition serves as an open laboratory bringing together experts from the fields of chemistry, physics, dance, and music. It takes as its starting point the search for the conditions of fundamental changes in structures, spaces, socio-political, and personal situations.
