MARC BRANDENBURG
Normex
6 October 2012 - 7 March 3013
With his pencil drawings, whose subjects are found in and examine the everyday world, the artist Marc Brandenburg (born 1965) animates viewers to look in-depth and without prejudice. For him, the medium of drawing is also a starting point for reproductions such as stickers and more recently temporary tattoos, which once again become originals as a result of functionality. For his exhibition ‘NORMEX’, he created site-specific installations that are presented under UV light. In addition, an artist’s edition with temporary tattoos and a text by Oliver Koerner von Gustorf is produced.
