The featured artists include CHEN Xiaoyun, DING Yi, HUANG Kui, LI Shan, LIU Weijian, MadeIn Company, MAO Yan, PU Jie, SUN Xun, TANG Maohong, WU Yiming, XUE Song, YUAN Yuan, YU Youhan, ZHANG Ding, ZHANG Enli, ZHOU Tiehai and ZHOU Zixi.
Continuing to focus on the main conception as last season that easel painting is a basic language of art by means of studio visits and artist interviews, Foundational Work II emphasizes the multitude of creational styles and brings a string of highlights in an open and exploring context for the avoidance of hasty judgment. Besides the latest works by the young generation, three intriguing documentary videos will guide you to the very beginning of the creation process, presenting the stories behind the works of MadeIn Company and SUN Xun, as well as the scenes on ZHANG Ding's stage.
