Freddy Kislev, Ohad Meromi, and Tomer Sapir in
Curator: Avi Lubin
22 December, 2011 – 11 February, 2012
The studio is a liminal space disconnected from ordinary time and space and allows artists to examine basic concepts and challenge them. Peering into the groundwork, or work in progress, allows the viewer to see what has been left out, the changes, and the evolution of the work. The exhibition investigates the subconscious of the final works and undermines the accepted hierarchy according to which the creative process is a preliminary and inferior stage in relation to the final product.
