Sommer Contemporary Art is pleased to announce the opening of the second solo
exhibition of artist Thomas Zipp in the gallery. The exhibition will include paintings, drawings and sculptures.

Zipp is one of the most prominent artists to work in Europe today. In his works,Zipp combines works in painting, drawing, sculpture and installation that deal with the history of art and philosophy. A principal component of his works is the staging of opposing values – good vs. evil, god vs. satan, physicality vs. spirituality.
Zipp creates a conceptual world that invokes themes of obsessive tendencies, spiritual ecstasy, borderline experiences and sexuality.

Thomas Zipp was born in 1966. He lives and works in Berlin
