"Det andets ansigt" is an exhibition by the three Dansish artists Tommy Petersen, Emil Westmann Hertz and Claus Hugo Nielsen.
The Artist has collaborated before on several occasions, working with various medias. In "Det andets ansigt" the artists will mainly show two dimensional works combined with a wall painting stretching over two walls of the gallery space.
The exhibition will be a selection of the artists own works, as well as works by a hand full of departed artists, know and unknown, more or less transformed to fit the venue.
In their previous collaborations they have been using departed artists work as point of departure for their own. In this case they will be taking it a step further by exhibiting alongside with them, as a bold attempt to erase the gap of time and status for a short period.
As the title “Det andets ansigt” (roughly translated: “the face of the other”)might suggests, the artist are in this exhibition working with and around the subject of “the other” as an essence or metaphysic element.
