Zenita Komad (*1980 in Klagenfurt, lives and works in Vienna and Tel Aviv) has developed an exciting installation entitled WIR, which interlinks the exhibition rooms with pictures, interactive objects, sculptures and drawings using red string. The focal point of the installation is circleXperiment, where visitors can discuss a theme proposed by the artist, who joins in herself via video chat. These will handle existential questions regarding the positioning of the Ego in relation to the We in today's world. The works in the exhibition visualize topics dealt with only marginally in the contemporary art business, but ones with a compelling impact, nonetheless. Zenita Komad presents her own view of the world – always concerned with connections of all kinds – with subtle humour and an original crossover. By interweaving historical as well as current motifs and symbolism with typographical elements and illustrative picture fragments, she creates visual metaphors in her text- and image-collages.

Each of the two successive rounds of discussion with Zenita Komad via video chat will last 45 minutes and take place only with a minimum number of 5 participants. A maximum of 9 people will be able to join them (no advance Registration necessary, participation in order of arrival).
