23 May 2014 at 7:30 p.m. is the first of a series of eight exhibitions presenting artistic positions from Cologne in ever-changing constellations and scenarios throughout the summer. What you will see may be temporary, sometimes just for a day, maybe for longer. It could be a single artwork, an intervention, a film or a work in combination with others. The exhibition series offers insight into what is happening artistically in Cologne today: the known and the unknown, illusion and abundance - a critical, unemotional and surprising selection. The exhibition Cologne at half past seven is based on an open call that was attended by 216 Cologne artists. A jury - Anja Dorn, Dr. Julia Friedrich, Dr. Michael Krajewski and Annelie Pohlen - and Temporary Gallery selected thirty participants who will present themselves in group exhibitions and events with a number of new works and installations.
