Tsui was one of the artists that represented Taiwan in the 2005 Venice Bienale. Using a highly humorous approach, his videos depict banal situations that represent a coming to terms with capitalist urban growth in Asian cities. The artist poses as participant and performer in banal and hilarious activities such as bowling with doves in the park, or standing at an intersection and waving a racecar checkered flag when the light turns green, or bumping into city icons such as the Ronald McDonald statue.
