Feuchte Hände

01 Mar - 13 Apr 2013

The drawing, in particular the water colour, as a medium for swift thoughts, a rough draft or construction drawings or the final draft, despite of Mac and paint programs has never been put into question by artists.

Once the brush touches the paper, the appeal of the coincidence and the calculation
defines the result.

The trace left by the tip of the brush on first contact with the paper cannot be reversed.

The exhibition deals with this area of tension between coincidence and purpose. It brings together several artists with different artistic approaches, presenting these positions side by side against the background of the water colour, pointing out the role of the water colour in the working process.
