IAIN FORSYTH & JANE POLLARD
November 15, 2008 - January 24th, 2009
The exhibition featured a selection of work from Forsyth and Pollard's ongoing series reworking seminal video art of the 60's and 70's. "Walking After Acconci (Redirected Approaches)" was shown alongside the response-piece "Walking Over Acconci (Misdirected Reproaches)." Both works reference Vito Acconci's classic 1973 piece "Walk-Over (Indirect Approaches)." Also included in the exhibition was "Kiss My Nauman," a piece originally made for Jarvis Cocker's Meltdown Festival at the Royal Festival Hall in London which references Bruce Nauman's iconic Art Make-Up and the rock band Kiss.
