This library exhibition shows an extensive survey of the artists' books and editions published by herman de vries (Alkmaar, 1931). This exhibition shows a selection of publications from his own eschenau summer press but also books published in an edition of only one copy..
During the opening on Sunday 10 november die wiese / the meadow 1986-2013, a book published by Peter Foolen Editions & Lecturis, will be launched. This book is showing the natural development of the meadow of herman and susanne de vries in the Steigerwald near Eschenau, Germany, where herman de vries lives and works since 1970.
