His name is Mender. Mark Mender! -Nearly no other fashion photographer captured the spirit of the "Generation Bond" as atmospheric and sexy as he did. Mender, born 1933 in Munich is a self-taught photographer . His love of experimentation and his feeling for special settings let him soon rise to become an icon of fashion-photography. Mender, who withdrew himself after a colourful career as photographer to found TV-ONE, now opens - aged 79 - his bountiful archives to the Dusseldorf gallery VAN HORN . We're delighted to dedicate this long-awaited and long-overdue solo exhibition to him.
The exhibition is part of the Duesseldorf Photo Weekend on February 2 & 3.
