Vilma Gold is pleased to present José Rojas’ first solo exhibition in the gallery. José Rojas (1978, Mexico City) lives and works in Mexico City.

Fracking (hydraulic fracturing) rock fracturing with pressurized liquid creating cracks in deep-rock formations through which shale gas, oil, tight gas and brine will flow more freely... major part of the Golden Age of Gas

José Rojas (Mexico City, 1978) Lives and works in Mexico City. Holds a BA in Architecture and postgraduate master degree in Design. Has participated in the Architecture Biennial in Rotterdam and in the European Ceramic Work Centre. Solo shows include Gaga, Mexico City (2012, 2009); Karma International, Zurich (2013). Group shows include In the Bedroom, M/L Artspace, NY; übersetzungsbüro, Galerie Buchholz, Berlin; Some Redemptions, curated by Josef Strau, Soloway, Brooklyn. Active participant of Montezuma. Runs along with Fernando Mesta the gallery House of Gaga in Mexico City.
