THE LONDON ART BOOK FAIR
25-27 September 2009
Gallery 1, 7, 8 & 9
The London Artists' Book Fair is moving! Marcus Campbell has joined forces with the Whitechapel Gallery to create the London Art Book Fair, which will take place at the Whitechapel Gallery between 25 – 27 September 2009.
The London Art Book Fair is an exciting addition to the newly expanded Whitechapel Gallery, which is internationally acclaimed for its exhibitions of modern and contemporary art and its pioneering education and events programmes.
We expect the fair to be an unmissable event that will present the work of international artist bookmakers, gallery presses and arts publishing houses alongside a wider associated programme of talks and events.
Exhibitors will be selected by an advisory board comprising Richard Schlagman (owner & editor, Phaidon Press); Franz König (publisher & bookseller); Gilda Williams (critic & lecturer); Soraya Rodriguez (Director, Zoo Art Fair) and Liam Gillick (artist) who will ensure the fair includes representatives of the most vibrant, stimulating and exciting art book production.
The fair will include a special preview for booksellers, distributors, collectors, and the arts and literary press.
