The new non-profit art space D21 in Leipzig, Germany is holding a SALON exhibition in December 2006.

Submissions from local, national and international artists as well as amateurs working in all fields of the arts* are openly welcome.
Entries will be considered on a 'first come, first served' basis, there is no selection process or curatorial work involved. Each artist can only hand in ONE piece of work, even if it is part of a series. Art work may be two- and three-dimensional and should not exceed 100 x 100 cm in size. Please read the attached submission requirements carefully and hand in all necessary paperwork along with your artwork. DEADLINE for all materials is December 5, 2006 We are looking forward to receiving your work.
D21 art space is inviting participating artists to hand in a portfolio of their work together with their submission material, which is going to be presented during the SALON. This portfolio will permanently remain in the archive of D21 for further use. * Unfortunately we cannot consider any video based artwork or films. However, D21 is providing a platform for these media based works in the "Screening" programme, which will be back in January 2007. Films and videos are going to be projected on one of our large windows from the inside, thus addressing the public space outside. We appreciate sample materials together with a short description of the work at any time.
