On their first European tour Experimental filmmakers Jonathan Schwartz and Ben Russell present a "combination of psychedelic cinema, mash-up animations, ethnographic mask ceremonies, and pinhole lenses [...]" and with this they would like to "map out a new world of Images and Sound where vision travels in waveforms and sound flickers like explosions in the night."
D21 will be showing their program on June 20th at 20.00 CET in our raw space just behind Lindenauer Markt in Leipzig (Demmeringstrasse 21). We would like to invite everyone that share our interest in 16mm films with audio and vocal distortion. Ben Russell will be present during the evening.
