"According to San Juan de la Cruz, for the soul to reach the highest level of spirituality it must resist three temptations: the world, the flesh and the devil. The world being the easiest enemy to resist, the devil the most complicated and the flesh the most tenacious of all.
I have noticed in my photographic work that these temptations are always present. The exhibition at the Galeria Leme “ Cautelas” ( San Juan de la Cruz gave the same title to his ensemble of rules) portrays these temptations as encountered in everyday day life".
