The symposium accompanying "Six Songs, Swirling Gracefully in the Taut Air" invites deeper readings and collective insights into Akinbode Akinbiyi's photography as well as image-building approaches emerging from the African world with photographers Emeka Okereke, Mimi Cherono Ng'ok (guest of the DAAD Artists-in-Berlin program 2020), curator and critic Dr. Bonaventure Soh Bejeng Ndikung, a literary reading by author Fatin Abbas and a sonic dialogue by producer, composer and performer houaïda.
