The exhibition is a collaboration between the Joanneum University of Applied Science (FH JOANNEUM) and Creative Industries Styria | designforum Steiermark. Following the showing in Vienna, an expanded version is now being put in Graz in co-operation with the Kunsthaus Graz.

The exhibition DESIGN IMPULSE focuses on the rapid development of mobility in modern society. The exhibition features products actually available in the world of mobility, from sailing boats to robot cars, and fantasy projects that run with the possibilities. The works of the graduates of the Industrial Design course under Gerhard Heufler bear witness to international networking in this very down-to-earth and yet attention-grabbing business. With the wide range of products and designs on show, the exhibition holds up a mirror to our product culture, and spotlights the richly faceted world of values in a pluralist society, where the functional alternates with the emotional, surprise challenges familiarity and innovation re-interprets tradition.
