Eduardo Sarabia received his BFA in Los Angeles from Otis College of Art and Design, and eventually moved to Mexico where his ancestors are from, having lived briefly in Berlin. His works are largely inspired by the local folk history of northern Mexico. He frequently works with materials favoured by craftsmen there such as ceramics tiles, pots, glass and hand-woven textiles. Through his work Sarabia aims to investigate the consequences of global economic forces on local traditions and culture.

b. 1976, Los Angeles, USA, lives and works in Guadalajara, Mexico. His work has been exhibited in numerous museums such as Museo Tamayo, Mexico City (2016); the Instituto Cultural Cabañas in Guadalajara and Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Oaxaca, Mexico and ASU Art Museum, Arizona (2014); Museum of Contemporary Art, Denver (2013), Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the Whitney Biennial (2008). This is the first time the gallery will exhibit his work.
