For their fifth exhibition at Maureen Paley, Muntean/Rosenblum will show seven new paintings. This year their work has been shown at Georg Kargl, Vienna, and has been included in Lust und Laster. Die sieben Todsünden von Dürer bis Nauman, Kunstmuseum Bern and Körper Codes. Menschenbilder aus der Sammlung, Museum der Moderne, Salzburg. Previous solo exhibitions include Team Gallery, New York, 2009, Between what was and what might be, Essl Museum, Klosterneuburg, Vienna, 2008, Make death listen, Galerie für Zeitgenössische Kunst, Leipzig, 2007, and MUSAC, Museo De Arte Contemporáneo De Castilla y León, 2006, It is never facts that tell in the Art Now space at Tate Britain, London, 2004, To Die For, De Appel, Amsterdam, 2002 and Where else, SECESSION, Vienna, 2000. Their work can also currently be seen in No New Thing Under The Sun at the Royal Academy of Arts, London. Markus Muntean and Adi Rosenblum have collaborated as Muntean/Rosenblum since 1992. They live and work in Vienna.
