Palais de Tokyo is presenting Anne Le Troter’s first solo show in an art centre in the Paris region.
In a piece echoing current political events, and the role played by opinion polls, Anne Le Troter takes apart the poetic distortions produced by telephone interviewers. On both the floor and the airwaves, in a sound piece conceived like an opera, the artist deploys a cartography of this highly codified world.

“The propositions I devise are fixed, stable and balanced, so that speech can find a place there. Even though I don’t use the same codes, what I want to attract is the same attentiveness that is demanded in a cinema.” Anne Le Troter
