Conny Becker (DE) is an independent journalist, author and curator. While studying art history at Humboldt University in Berlin, she begun as an art critique and developed a curatorial practice. She edited the publications "Metropolitan Views: Art Scenes in Berlin and London" (Deutscher Kunstverlag, Berlin/Munich 2008) and "Metropolitan Views: Art Scenes in Berlin 1989-2009" (Deutscher Kunstverlag, Berlin/Munich 2010) as well as several exhibition catalogs. 2013 she was one of the main authors of the catalog for the Luxemburg Pavilion, "Catherine Lorent: Relegation", and idem of the exhibition catalog "Arte Postale" at the Academy of Arts in Berlin.

Founding member of "tête" in 2012, Conny Becker curated ten shows and several events at this Berlin project space, winner of the Project Space Award from the Berlin Senat in 2015. Institutional exhibitions she curated include "Family Jewels" at Bahnwärterhaus der Villa Merkel, Esslingen (2009/10), "Female Intervention" at Humboldt University Berlin (2014), "Kollision. Im Labyrinth der unheimlichen Zufälle", Kunstraum Kreuzberg/Bethanien, Berlin (2016), and "LINEAR MOMENTUM", Tcb, Melbourne (2015) and at Galerie im Körnerpark, Berlin (2016-17). For the Berlin festival Interiors to Being she curated 2019 the exhibition "RAUMANEIGNUNG" at Milchhof Pavillon, and in the context of the Journées du Matrimoine 2020 she organized "Les entremêleuses" in Die, France.

In 2018 she founded DIEresidenz, an artist residency in Die, France, in exchange with Berlin, focused on contemporary art and with a feminist approach: www.dieresidenz.net.
