XXIX Edition of the Touring Exhibition of Visual Arts ERTIBIL BIZKAIA 2012.
Sala Rekalde exhibition space presents ERTIBIL, a touring exhibition of visual arts organized by the Department for Culture of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, which aims to support and encourage young creators at the first steps of their artistic careers.
The twenty-nine edition of this encounter with young art exhibits the work of twenty artists, among which are the winners of the first, second and third prizes : Sra Polaroiska, Ion Macareno y Mikeldi Pérez Urquijo, respectively.
Along with the work of these artists, the exhibition features the works of another eighteen selected artists: Bego Antón, Saray Blades, Néstor Caparrós, Álvaro Gil, Amaia Gracia Azketa, Ibai León, Maite Leyún, Ander Laucirica Basaguren (koproskilos), Marta López Orosa, Minerva Losada, Karlos Martínez B., Jorge Moneo Quintana, Ana Riaño, Iker Serrano, Manu Uranga, Mikel Varas and Diego Vivanco.
The jury, composed by Txaro Arrazola, Alicia Fernández, Josu Rekalde, Dora Salazar and Juan Zapater, has selected the above mentioned proposals from a total of 100 artists who presented 138 works.
The exhibition, that opened the 19THJune2012 in Basauri, will then travel to the towns of Sestao, Amorebieta-Etxano, Lekeitio, Derio, Galdakao, Portugalete, Ortuella and Gernika-Lumo.
