In 2013, The Greek video artist Vasilis Karvounis won the TENT Academy Award for Best Foreign Film. Now he's back in Rotterdam for the artist residency he was awarded.
In the exhibition Vasilis Karvounis negotiates on the concepts of suggestion and autosuggestion in relation to the individual and collective unconscious. He is interested in the notion of submission as a potential state of enforcement and configuration of consciousness, commenting on the media, religion as well as the role of the artist
