Danilo Dueñas - A door repeated and the wardrobe fell

Galerie Thomas Schulte presents in its Corner Space an installation by the Columbian artist Danilo Dueñas, who was a DAAD fellow in 2011. The title of the installation, "A door repeated and the wardrobe fell", illustrates the extent to which one is committed to the world in its different extensions. It is the natural that affects the pulse of the painter. Natural being possibly a white door or an overturned wardrobe. It is a matter of inviting life to participate decisively with its force and the eager mind to handle constructively the flows of everything that will be present at the outset, midlife and repose of the installation.
