This exhibition of photographs made by members of a Facebook group called “Click Click Community (CCC)” features an eclectic mix of images by photographers whose only links are Facebook, Indonesia, and a shared enthusiasm for making beautiful images that capture fragments of the landscape and society that make up this archipelago of diversity.
The result is a montage that reflects the exotic beauty and diversity that are essential characteristics of this nation of a thousand islands. This exhibition is a uniquely 21st century phenomenon whilst simultaneously demonstrating a perhaps universal tradition of formalism in photography.
